I was hoping for a Hammond start. The streak is fun and all but I'm a lot more concerned with the St Louis game coming up. A fresh Bernier would make me feel a lot better against a team they're fighting with for a playoff spot.

Varly will be back for St Louis is my guess.

But had no idea Hammond has a .900 save percentage in the AHL. I just question if he should be getting the start. Thats not a solid number to translate to the NHL...even on a Back to back

Ya but if you don't feel comfortable playing Hammond at all then why not bring up Martin to sit on the bench. He'll get more out of not playing in the NHL than not playing in San Antonio.

Martin is equally as bad in the AHL this year. At least he gets some starts with the rampage, Martin would be sitting on the bench either way.
